Freshgraduatesobtainingamaster'sordoctoraldegreefromShanghaiuniversitiesandwhoareemployedinthemunicipality'sfivenewtownsandthenewareaofthefreetradezonecannowapplyforpermanenthouseholdregistrationinShanghai,accordingtoanewpolicyreleasedbytheShanghaiStudentAffairsCenteronTuesday.

根据上海学生事务中心周二发布的一项新政策，在上海大学获得硕士或博士学位的应届毕业生，如果在该市的五个新城和自由贸易区的新区就业，现在可以申请上海的永久户口。

ThecenterannouncedthatqualifiedapplicantscanbeginapplyingforthepermanenthouseholdregistrationsinDecember.

该中心宣布，合格的申请人可以在12月开始申请永久户口。

Thepolicyisaimedatattractingmoretalentstothecity,especiallytoitsfivenewtowns–Jiading,Qingpu,Songjiang,FengxianandNanhui.

该政策旨在吸引更多的人才到该市，特别是到其五个新镇--嘉定、青浦、松江、奉贤和南汇。

Thecity'sexistingpoliciesalsograntpermanenthouseholdregistrationtobachelordegreeholdersfromPekingUniversity,TsinghuaUniversity,ShanghaiJiaoTongUniversity,FudanUniversity,TongjiUniversity,andEastChinaNormalUniversity.

该市的现有政策还给予北京大学、清华大学、上海交通大学、复旦大学、同济大学和华东师范大学的学士学位获得者永久户籍。

PhDgraduatesfromShanghaiuniversitiescanalsoapplyforpermanenthouseholdregistrationinthecity.

上海高校的博士毕业生也可以在本市申请永久户口。
